This is a beautiful pine cone, horse chestnut, and natural material wreath measuring 30 inches wide by 33 inches tall.
The wreath is rimmed with pine cones on the outside and sequoia cones on the inside. Other materials include red-brown horse chestnuts, some of which were cut before they were dried, adding pops of white. Sunflower stalks, dried bean pods, asters, tansy and status leaves, dried sunflower stems, hydrangea flower centers, plantain seed pods and other natural materials fill out the details in the wreath. Maple leaf stems, rhododendron leaves and iris seed pods make up the bottom point of interest giving this wreath an earthy and majestic feel.
Note: This wreath weighs 10 pounds (it has a lot of materials in it)! It also has natural sap attached to some of the pine cones, which also means it has a wonderful smell.
All my wreaths are made out of natural materials on a wire wreath form. I bind them together with wire so there are no glue or plastic fillers. The back of the wreath has a loop for ease of hanging.
The wreath must be picked up at my studio in North Burien or it can be delivered in the Seattle area for an additional fee. This product unfortunately can not be shipped.
I made this wreath in the spirit of the holidays. And with this in mind I’m donating 100% of the retail price to Burien area food banks.
