My name is Becca Heavrin. I'm a creative artist and story teller living in Burien, Washington.
I grew up near the coast of Maine on a subsistence farm where I deeply connected with the seasons and the natural world. From there my path took many twists and turns, and I eventually moved to the west coast for my corporate career and the mild winters. I was very pleased that I didn’t have to rearrange snow (very often) and I could garden all four seasons in the year.
Then, a handful of years ago I decided to quit my job and focus on my art as my business and my profession. I work in many mediums but I love the freedom and colors in painting. Recently I’ve also begun working with natural materials to create sculptures and tell a story, and I’ve been making and displaying public art too
My art is the sum of my life experiences and it’s one way I reach for something bigger than my life alone. It’s also a connection to my intuition, and what I do has soulful undertones that come out in vibrancy and calming compositions. What I love most about what I do is sharing it with you.
